Welcome to Dragonswood Bluff
18th to 20th July 2025
Deep in the heart of Cardiff, a quiet university slumbers in the summer with not a student in sight. But not everything is as it seems. For a demon has awoken, and transformed Cyncoed Campus into Dragonswood Bluff! Can you trust your friends, your neighbours… yourself? You’ll need more than an educated guess to solve this game.

What’s going on?
Dragonswood Bluff is taking over the Cyncoed Campus of Cardiff Metropolitan University for a weekend of social deduction, games and adventures. Join 150+ friends as we backstab, murder and lie to each other. There will be multiple rooms available so you won’t have people struggling to be heard over other games going on.
The hit social deduction game by The Pandemonium Institute “Blood On The Clocktower” will be at the centre of this Welsh Weekender, where you will need a level head to survive. A classic game of good vs evil, in a similar vein to the likes of Werewolf, Among Us, Secret Hitler, Avalon, as well as the hit BBC Show The Traitors. If you’re good, you’ve got to work together with those around you to find the evil team, whilst remembering that not everyone will be telling you the truth. If you’re evil, your job is to cause chaos and confusion while assisting your demon. For a full breakdown of how the game is played, watch this video.
Other activities and features happening over the weekend include:
- a massive 50 player game of SPIES hosted by Nicky
- the Saturday evening quiz
- on-site food and drinks all weekend
- board game library
- quiet zone for unwinding and contemplation
The event will run from Friday 18th July to Sunday 20th July for weekend ticket holders, and there’s a limited number of day tickets available too.
- Fri 4pm – 12.30am
- Sat 10am – 12.30am
- Sun 10am – 8pm
How much?
Weekend tickets are £40 and day tickets are £25 per day.
There aren’t any day tickets for Friday though… so if you want the full experience, go for the weekend ticket.
Tickets are on sale now.
We have a ticket exchange facility in our Discord so if you miss out, be sure to check in there regularly in case one becomes available.

There are three hotels within 5 minute drive / 15 minute walk, and the campus is in a residential area so AirBnBs are likely be be available too.
The three local hotels are Mercure Cardiff North Hotel, Zip by Premier inn Cardiff and Travelodge Cardiff Llanedeyrn.
