Can I park at the venue?
The hotel has a car park of around 50 spaces however these are open to the general public. There is a daily charge for this and the venue suggests getting there very early in order to get a space. These are free for blue badge holders.

The venue have provided us with a discount code for NCP car parking at Greyfriars Road – further details TBC.

There are a multitude of car parks around Cardiff city centre.

For wheelchair users, Dragon Taxis will send a wheelchair accessible taxi, on request. 029 20 333 333.

What accommodation is available nearby?
Dragonswood Bluff have secured a limited number of bedrooms at a discounted rate for attendees, which will be available once you have bought tickets via our website.

The Leonardo is a 4* hotel with prices to reflect that and we appreciate this may not be within everyone’s budget. The location is in Cardiff city centre therefore there are many hotels and AirBnB’s available locally – there’s even a caravan and camping park about a 20 minutes walk away!

We suggest linking in with friends to share accommodation costs or reaching out in the Discord group to see if anyone wants to share accommodation. Please ensure you take necessary precautions of agreeing to share with someone you don’t know.

I have a problem with my ticket, who can I contact?
You can contact ModMail on the discord page, or email us (see below)

I can no longer attend, what can I do with my ticket?
You can exchange your ticket (FACE VALUE ONLY) through our discord ticket exchange. If you are unable to connect to the discord page, please email us. We will not be issuing refunds this year except in extreme circumstances

Is there an age limit?
Under 16s welcome with an adult but we recommend being 12+ to join games.

16-17 year olds are welcome to come unaccompanied but please contact organisers in advance via ModMail on the discord page, or by emailing us to let us know of this arrangement.

Please note, as this is open to adults and children alike, and we will be operating out of a licensed venue, you will need to bring ID with you to be served any alcohol. The venue operates a THINK 25! policy, which means they will ID you if you’re lucky enough to look 25 or under.

What food’s available on site?
The Leonardo Hotel has a bar/cafe/restaurant area with food, drinks and snacks available.

Because the venue is in a super central location, there is a world of food available locally  in Cardiff – including a Greggs opposite the venue for a quick snack.

Any food bought off-site should be eaten off site please.

I would like to volunteer, how do I apply?
We are not seeking volunteers at this time.

Will there be Grimoires available?
We will be supplying 10 grimoires to be used over the weekend (thanks to Edd Gabriel). These won’t all necessarily have all the experimental tokens you would like to use. As such, you are more than welcome to bring your own grimoire and/or tokens. Whilst we hope that everyone’s games are kept safe over the weekend, we unfortunately cannot take responsibility for any items that are lost or stolen.

If you have any further questions, please contact an organiser through ModMail on Discord, or email us at contact@dragonswoodbluff.com. See you in July!!!
